Modern float, clean shadow line. Built for 1.5" gallery-depth canvases with a crisp gap that lets your work breathe (and look glorious and ready for a collector’s wall).

Fits

Wood
Basswood — lightweight, smooth, and beautiful for a clean gallery finish. We chose it on purpose because it finishes beautifully and hangs easy. It’s a frame, not a hockey puck. Treat it kindly and it’ll treat your art like royalty.

Float gap
• Approximately 3/16"–1/4" (handmade tolerance)

Hardware + orientation (important)
• Ordering a floater + canvas from us? Hardware is included, and we can mount it so you can pop the canvas out to paint, then drop it right back in.
• Ordering a floater frame only? Hardware can be added — just ask.
• Please tell us Landscape or Portrait so we place pinholes and mounting details where they stay invisible (because details matter).

How to measure
Order by your stretched canvas size (outside edge to outside edge), in inches. We automatically build in the float gap in-studio.

Finishes
• Raw: clean sanded wood, ready to paint or leave natural
• Beeswax: soft, natural matte sheen. Coming soon!
• Stain (Light / Dark / Black): coming soon!

Turnaround
Standard is 2–3 weeks, depending on size and finish. Oversize frames or special finishes may take closer to 3–4 weeks.
