How to Measure
(so your order fits perfectly)
All sizes are in inches.
Measure the finished outside edge to outside edge. When in doubt, measure twice (your future self will thank you).
Stretcher frames + stretched canvases
Order the finished painting size you want.
Example: If you want a 24×36 painting surface, order 24×36.
Floater frames
Order by your stretched canvas outside size (edge to edge).
Example: If your canvas measures 24×36, order a 24×36 floater frame and we’ll add the float gap in-studio.
Raw canvas
Add extra canvas for wrapping around the stretcher bars.
Rule of thumb: add 8" total to each dimension (about 3–4" per side).
Example: For a 24×36 stretch, order roughly 32×44 of raw canvas.

Custom sizes
Use the Custom Sizes Quote Tool and include any special notes like: deadline, canvas depth, preferred float gap, or anything unique about your project.
P.S. Tape measures have feelings. Don’t do the “close enough” rounding thing. Measure to the nearest 1/8" when you can, and your fit will be chef’s kiss.
